I finally finished Little My today! 😀
I could have finished her much sooner, but I have been reading, doing jigsaw puzzles etc. I have not been working on Little My for a couple of days. But today I decided to get it over with so I can move on the Snufkin.
The hair was a little tricky to make and I am not super happy with the face. But I am not going to change it. On the back are three small beads to look like buttons.
She is of course the smallest of them all. When she is standing next to the Moominmamma, My’s head (with the hair bun) reaches the neck of Moominmamma.
She is a character that is quite moody. Hence the angry face. (I followed the instructions when I made the face, so that’s what it looks like in the book too.) But she can of course be happy too sometimes. She is adventurous and doesn’t let her small figure get in the way.
Snufkin is, as I wrote, next. I might not have the correct shade of green for his coat and his hat, but I don’t think it matters. I have seen so many versions of Snufkin (same for the other characters). I have seen many different shades of green.
I will look through my yarns tonight (well, it’s already 8 pm). I might start on Snufkin tonight, or tomorrow. It depends on how fast I can find the yarns I need. I will watch something on TV in about an hour, so I might crochet while watching that.
Last night the beading class started again after a long break. 🙂 But I will finish the thing I started to make before posting a picture of it.
